Salary: circa £37,000 per annum, commensurate with experience

Since 2010 The Poppy Factory employability service has facilitated over 950 job starts for Veterans (our clients) who experience some form of disability or health challenge in relation to work. Demand for our service has grown significantly; we are ambitious about supporting many more wounded; injured or sick veterans into meaningful and sustainable work and are now entering a further period of growth.

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Digital Manager to join our Communications team. The role plays a leading role in developing, shaping and delivering The Poppy Factory’s marketing and digital strategy, raising the profile of the work we do. Working in partnership with the Fundraising and Employability teams, as well as colleagues within the Communications team, the Marketing & Digital Manager will develop integrated campaign plans.

At the heart of the role is the responsibility for driving and embedding a marketing strategy for engaging new and existing audiences while enhancing the visitor and supporter experience. The role is responsible for expressing The Poppy Factory’s brand externally across a range of digital channels from website to social media, along with internal communications.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their considerable practical marketing experience, operating at an influential level. The ability to think creatively about how digital technologies can enhance The Poppy Factory’s brand is vital, along with excellent written communication skills. The successful candidate will be comfortable both developing and delivering creative content strategies and also championing the use of analysis and insight to evaluate performance and optimise decision making.
