About us
The RAF Association has a clear objective: to help sustain a resilient and empowered RAF community, including serving personnel, RAF veterans and their families. Through our sector leading services, we offer friendship to the isolated and lonely, sheltered housing for those who want to remain proudly independent and childcare to serving personnel on RAF stations. We work closely with partner organisations, including other military charities, and have a strong bond with our donors and supporters, giving us the confidence to deliver for our beneficiaries when they need us.
With thousands of members across the UK and further afield, plus hundreds of dedicated employees and volunteers, we have the network and experience needed for a personal one-to-one approach. We work together to make sure no one is ever left behind.
About the job
Whilst the Supporter Insight team is relatively small, they achieve big things! As a highly proficient Salesforce system administrator, you will be performing all tasks related to the day-to-day operations and implementation of salesforce.com. This will include supporting the delivery of data quality and integrity projects as well as performing data extractions from Salesforce for fundraising and membership campaigns and other outbound communications as required. You will be confident championing CRM (Salesforce) with colleagues and departments to maximise use by answering queries and advising on functionality, in close collaboration with the IE team. It’s a real team effort!
About you
Whilst Salesforce accreditation is highly desirable, it is not essential so long as you have a wide knowledge base of Salesforce system administration and experience in delivering first line support. You will bring with you experience of data cleansing and de-duplication and be fully hands on in managing data quality processes and supporting CRM principles. A good understanding of marketing data analysis is essential as you will be a subject matter expert in relation to supporter insight activities and our systems and data offering.
Our ideal colleague will thrive on planning and executing a wide range of projects using judgement, and innovative methods and have the ability to build strong relationships with a range of collaborators and stakeholders
