About us

The RAF (Royal Air Forces) Association has a clear objective: to help sustain a resilient and empowered RAF community. Through our sector-leading welfare and wellbeing services, we offer a wide range of support to serving personnel, veterans and their families. With thousands of members and supporters across the UK and further afield, plus hundreds of dedicated employees and volunteers, we have the network and experience needed for a personal one-to-one approach. We work together to make sure no one is ever left behind.

About the role

This is a key role within the Supporter Marketing team and the post holder is responsible for planning and executing income generation activity, including cash appeals. The role is also responsible for the delivery of the acquisition and stewardship of lottery players and regular donors. Working closely with the Insight Team, you will use an evidence based and data driven approach to create, project manage and deliver impactful fundraising appeals and campaigns, inspiring individuals to take action. You will also work closely with marketing and fundraising colleagues as well as stakeholders from across the organisation, to deliver personalised, integrated marketing activity.  Whilst no two days will be the same, you will be part of delivering something really special and feel the rewards of seeing the charity impact the lives of those who really need it.

About you

Ideally you will have proven track record in fundraising or marketing, and desirably hold a relevant degree in this area. An understanding of the fundraising/charity sector would be desirable, though not essential.  People skills are integral to this post as you will be working with a range of diverse stakeholders to deliver marketing activity to meet targets. Excellent project management skills are required to plan and execute a number of projects in parallel to meet budget and delivery deadlines.  You must have the ability to understand audiences and impart information and key messages clearly, concisely and convincingly.
