RAFA Kidz Nursery, RAF Odiham RG29 1QS
RAFA Kidz supports your local Royal Air Force community by providing exceptional child care for the families of serving veterans. Due to the popularity of our nursery, we have a newly created role which would be a perfect fit for someone who is an experienced Early Years Practitioner and is ready to move into a junior management role whilst still being hands on with the children.
The EYC will be an excellent role model and mentor to other staff and will assist the management team in leading a high quality curriculum and pedagogy across the setting. A key part of the role will be to support the coaching and mentoring of staff, helping the manager to identify staff training needs and to ensure highest levels of training are provided to staff. You will create and maintain enriching and high quality educational environments which are safe, caring and stimulating at all times. With regards to children’s development, you will be fully involved in ensuring that the nursery plans and delivers an appropriate play based curriculum that enables children to make individual progress and reach their full potential and meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage at all times.
Previous experience as Room Leader or Senior Practitioner will be a great starting point for this position as RAFA Kidz will invest in you and your development to enable you to grow in this junior management role. You will have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance along with proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities
If you are happy to be fully ‘hands on’ and passionate about quality childcare and education then we’d love to hear from you! The full job description is available on our website www.rafa.org.uk
