RAFAKidz Cranwell is celebrating after a member of staff won a prestigious early years award at an awards ceremony in London.
Nursery Room Leader Bo Forster was named Nursery Room Leader of the Year at the National NMT Nursery Awards.
Bo, who has worked at RAFAKidz Cranwell for seven years, said:
“I’m still in shock, I really wasn’t expecting it. When I heard them say my name at the ceremony, I just couldn’t believe it.
“I’m so happy and I feel very honoured to receive the award. I’d like to say a big thank you to my manager for nominating me. I’m so lucky to have a job I love and winning an award for it is just amazing.”
The National NMT Nursery Awards aim to celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations working in the early years sector in the UK.
Bo’s win is another success for RAFAKidz Cranwell, which was named Nursery of the Year at the Nursery World Awards earlier this year.
Pam Cave, Operations Manager (North) for RAFAKidz, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted for Bo. This award not only recognises her hard work, but it’s also testament to her commitment to providing the very best care to the children and families of RAF Cranwell. Well done Bo!”
RAFAKidz manages 17 nurseries across the country, designed to meet the needs of military and civilian families in the community on and around RAF stations, providing affordable and quality childcare.
