To commemorate the centenary of the First World War, There But Not There has teamed up with the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust to help communities host a fully-funded commemorative installation, without having to worry how to pay for it.
The silhouettes represent those lost in the First World War, whose names appear on local war memorials around the country, bringing them back into their place of worship, their school, their workplace or wherever their absence was keenly felt.
These micro-grants can fund up to 10 silhouettes to support your Remembrance Day activities for the centenary of the First World War.
We are pleased to announce that applications are now open: 1st June – 30th June
You can apply by clicking the link. Please note, there are no postal applications.
The grant is for the silhouettes only, not the 6 foot aluminium Tommies.
You can also purchase a tabletop Tommy, the profits from which go to six beneficiary charities, to help us to both commemorate those who died in the First World War and to support today’s veterans.
