The Service Children’s Progression (SCiP) Alliance is inviting all schools to get involved in research around support for Service children by completing a survey here.
The research will form an evidence base for the development of a self-improvement framework for schools’ work supporting Service children. The SCiP Alliance are keen to work with partners across the country to ensure we reach as many schools as we can and make the resulting national framework representative. The survey should take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete, and schools may need to access some school data while completing some of the questions. It closes at midnight on Friday 8 February.
The research is being undertaken on behalf of the SCiP Alliance by the International Centre for Guidance Studies at the University of Derby and includes a literature review and focus groups and interviews in schools. This work has been funded by a collaboration between six NCOP HE partnerships to support effective practice for Service children nationally.
