RFS celebrated their official 10th Anniversary with a small drinks reception at the National Army Museum in Chelsea on 30 November.
Recruit for Spouses were honoured to have the incredible sculptor Keziah Burt demonstrating her skills as she worked on her sculpture of Prince William live during the reception. Keziah was surrounded by some of her most celebrated pieces which were being displayed as part of a pop-up gallery.
“We really wanted to bring those who have supported us for the last 10 years together to say thank you, to show them the impact they have made on the UK Armed Forces community and convey how it is through their support that we have been able to hit this milestone.” Said Heledd Kendrick, CEO.
In the last 10 years RFS has supported over 7,000 spouses and others from the wider military community into work, and it was in 2017 that RFS launched their award-winning Career Academy. Through collaboration with valued sponsors and partnering organisations, they have grown the coaching programme to support 100’s of spouses into employment. Some of their most recent partnerships have increased their demand, and they are especially in need of more coaches to support those in the military community into gainful employment.
