The Role:
We’re looking for a CCAB qualified accountant who is passionate about the charity sector to deliver robust financial management within the Fundraising directorate at the Royal British Legion.
The Fundraising directorate strives to raise enough money to support our beneficiaries and further our charitable objectives, through a wide portfolio of fundraising products, including the annual Poppy Appeal which alone raises GBP 49m. In total you will be overseeing an income target of GBP 112m and expenditure budget of GBP 42m.
You’ll be an effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships, and have a strong focus on customer service, planning and problem solving. You will have a strong track record of providing high quality reporting and analysis that supports effective decision-making, and be experienced in budgeting, forecasting and offering commercial support.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, managing one CCAB qualified Business Partner and ensuring that they are motivated, set clear objectives, and provided with training and support.
