HighGround successfully delivered their second Virtual Rural Week this week to nine service leavers and veterans referred by the White Ensign Association, Officers’ Association, Walking With The Wounded, Project Nova, Royal Marines Charity, and three self referrals via Soldier magazine, internet search and LinkedIn.
The VRW featured presentations from Hi-Line Contractors SW, Bowler Oakfield, BALI, Langore Tree Services and Dorset Wildlife Trust about Transition, Forestry and Arboriculture, Estate Management, Landscaping and Heritage Gardening, and Wildlife Conservation.
HighGround’s third Virtual Rural Week starts on 17 August and they hope to be back at Bicton to start the autumn Rural Weeks programme in September. Find out full details here.
