Single RAF Personnel – Service Evaluation

The Single RAF personnel Service Evaluation is now live, via this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SingleRAF and QR code:

The Evaluation should take around 5-10 minutes to complete and will remain live for just over 5 weeks, closing on Monday 9 September at 2100 hrs.

It is completely anonymous as we do not request any identifiable data.

Who should complete the Service Evaluation?

The Evaluation is for completion by:

  • Single RAF personnel – this includes personnel in long term relationships, divorced, widowed or have single parental responsibilities,
  • Have completed their initial and professional training,
  • Are serving in the UK or overseas, and
  • Are serving on a Regular or Full Time Reserve Service contract.

We understand that many RAF personnel serve alongside single personnel from the Army and Navy/RM who may also want to complete the Service Evaluation.  Whilst the Evaluation has been designed primarily for the RAF single cohort, it is open to personnel from the Army and Navy/RM who wish to share their experiences with us.

Service Evaluation to capture Key Data

The reason for undertaking this Service Evaluation is to collect vital information that is not captured in the Armed Forces Continuous Attitude Survey (AFCAS) or the Single Living Accommodation (SLA) survey.  This will enable us to identify key issues that are affecting the single community within the RAF.

The data collected, all of which is completely anonymous, will then be used as evidence that we can present to:

  • Senior RAF and MOD staff
  • DIO
  • the Armed Forces Pay Review Body
  • Government Ministers
  • The Navy Families Federation
  • The Army Families Federation

Help us to help the Single RAF Community

If you are a single member of the RAF, or have connections with the single cohort, please complete or share our Service EvaluationYou will also find attached the REVISED publicity flyer containing the QR code which directs you straight to the Service Evaluation.

The only way we can effect change is if we have the supporting evidence

Should you have any questions, please contact either myself or enquiries@raf-ff.org.uk
