About the role
We are seeking a Dietitian with adult & paediatric experience in an outpatient/community setting to deliver a high standard of care supporting military personnel and their families across British Forces Cyprus. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide dietetic specialist care across a wide range of areas and use your expertise to organise and support public health initiatives. You will provide training to health professionals, patient groups and support medical students. Excellent CPD opportunities are available and supervision provided.
A relocation package is available for this role. This is a fixed term role until 30th June 2020.
Requirements
To carry out this role successfully you will be a registered dietitian with a broad range of knowledge and experience in an outpatient or community setting including clinical proficiency with both adults and children.
You will be required to cover a variety of dietetic areas such as:
• weight management
• diabetes
• gastrointestinal disorders such as coeliac disease, IBS and IBD
• allergies and intolerances
• faltering growth
• fussy eating
You should have the ability to work autonomously and within a team, possess excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills. A valid driving licence, together with the ability to drive a manual car is essential as substantial travel is required across the island.
