A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time permanent Learning and Development Assistant in the Learning and Development team at SSAFA, the UK’s oldest national tri-service military charity.
About the role
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Assistant to support the delivery of learning and development activities to our employees and volunteers at a particularly busy time. You will contribute to the effective functioning of SSAFA’s Learning and Development team by ensuring that course and conference administration is conducted in a timely and efficient way from allocation of places to evaluation of courses. In addition, provide ongoing assistance to the Learning and Development team and supporting delivery of learning and development activities to our employees.

Requirements
To carry out this role successfully you will have demonstrable administrative experience, and the ability to work in a busy environment while maintaining a professional and welcoming attitude.
You will be highly organised, with a meticulous eye for detail. You will have experience as the first point of contact for a busy department providing high quality customer service, helping to troubleshoot any issues and escalating any complex queries.
You will be IT literate and be confident when using MS Office and databases. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop rapport with a wide range of clients and customers.
