A new opportunity has arisen for a Wellbeing Assistant to support the Wellbeing Lead at Dunkirk Memorial House, Taunton, Somerset.
To assist with the co-ordination of recreational activities and functions for Residents both within and outside the Home, which will promote the physical, intellectual and social stimulation of the Resident. You will promote independence with freedom of choice and assist and motivate residents to maximise their potential.
You should have experience of arranging and assisting with activities and events for a similar client group and be prepared to work with large groups, small groups and individuals. A recognised qualification in activities is desirable and experience in a care environment would be an advantage.
