The Veterans Charity announces new partnership with The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust

The Veterans Charity (VC) is proud to announce a new partnership with The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust (RNBT) which has been formed after discussions were held at the RNBT’s recent annual conference in Saltash.

Over the few years, The Veterans Charity has seen a sharp rise in the number of Veterans being referred or self-referring and in the case of Royal Navy and Royal Marines Veterans, there has been an increase of more than 70% in the past 12 months alone.

The new partnership means that for every qualifying Royal Navy beneficiary that VC delivers support to, RNBT will contribute £100 towards the costs.

Danny Greeno, CEO of The Veterans Charity says

We are extremely proud to announce this new partnership with the RNBT as it means that not only will we be able to continue delivering immediate needs support to Veterans of the Royal Navy including Royal Marines, but it is also a fabulous example of collaboration and the care shown by the RNBT for members of the RN Family. Members of our team were delighted to have been invited to the RNBT’s annual conference recently and to have the opportunity to talk to various members of the Trust’s Senior Management team. Their attitude towards ensuring comprehensive support is available to members of the Royal Navy, both past and present, is tremendous and we are very pleased that they have agreed to work with us in this way.
