Our next FWP evening update Zoom briefing will take place at 18:30 on Tuesday 11 March (1830-2000) GMT
This townhall will include an update from FWP’s chair and CEO, but we are delighted that our guest speaker will be Ahmed Al-Nahhas from Bolt Burdon Kemp (BBK). Ahmed is a Partner and Solicitor Advocate at BBK and heads the Military Claims team. He will talk about the Short Guide to the LGBT Financial Recognition Scheme and Your Legal Rights leaflet, produced in partnership with FWP, and there will be the opportunity to answer questions on this, too.
Dave Small, FWP’s Pride in Veterans Standard Manager (PiVS) will also give a short briefing on PiVS from the perspective of how veterans, serving personnel and families can use it to help identify regional or national LGBT+ veteran friendly organisations.
