Update from the Forces Welfare Media Team

SSVC’s Forces Welfare Media Team continues to feature the work of Cobseo and Veterans Scotland members, Armed Forces Covenant-funded projects and other initiatives that are helping to deliver the promises within the Covenant.  In the run-up to Christmas, Edinburgh reporter Dave McCann filmed with a forces spouse being helped to set up her own business by Women’s Enterprise Scotland.  He also joined residents and guests at the RAF Association’s Rothbury House Wings Breaks hotel in picturesque Northumberland and filmed with the veterans and dogs of the Bravehound project.  Reporter Victoria Smith sat down with Mark Lancaster, Minister for Defence Personnel and Veterans as he unveiled the Annual Covenant report.  She also visited a Swansea veteran who’s been helped by Alabaré and featured the work being done by Change Step and Swansea FC to help veterans in Port Talbot.   You can see these and all the team’s videos by liking their Facebook page –  facebook.com/forceswelfaremedia and by following them on Twitter (@forceswelfare).

If you’d like to discuss how they might feature the work your charity’s doing in 2017, email the team at welfaremedia@ssvc.com.
