We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Assistant to support the successful delivery and growth of Walking With The Wounded’s income across its major income streams of Corporate Relationships (c. 70% of role), and Trusts and Foundations (c.30%). This is a dynamic role that will include a wide-range of responsibilities. The Fundraising Assistant is responsible for focusing on research, pipeline development, and relationship management to support the team to grow income streams. This will include creating proposals, stewardship materials, and trust mailouts. Our charity is an innovative one and so we also encourage new ideas and ways to generate income so we can deliver our services which we expect you to feed into.
With such an array of opportunities, high attention to detail, the ability to multitask and exceptional organisation are all essential skills for this role. The Fundraising Assistant will report directly to the Senior Relationship Manager for all day-to-day activities, and will be part of the Fundraising Team which is led by the Director of Income. This role will also work closely alongside the Relationship Manager and our Comms team to support each stage of content, collateral and marketing planning; especially in the area of Corporate events.

Please note that whilst this role will primarily be based in the North-East, there is expected occasional travel to our regional offices, most specifically Norfolk and Manchester.
