Dr Lydia Morris (Clinical Lecturer and Clinical Psychologist, University of Manchester) and Professor Anthea Innes (McMaster University, Canada) are leading a project that seeks to explore the experiences and support needs of veterans living with dementia in their own homes.
The project has 3 phases:
Phase 1: Conduct interviews with service providers to understand the support needs of veterans living with dementia
Phase 2: Conduct interview with veterans living with dementia and their family members/care partners to gather their views on the care and support needs of veterans living with dementia
Phase 3: Run workshops to share and disseminate findings
Currently, as part of Phase 1, the project is recruiting service providers who offer support to veterans living with dementia.
If you or anyone else you know might be able to help with the first phase of the project please email Ana Churchman (researcher) – anamaria.churchman@manchester.ac.uk or Lydia Morris (principal investigator) at lydia.morris@manchester.ac.uk.
