We are currently accepting applications from wounded, injured and sick veterans with an interest in a career as a commercial pilot.
Candidates must have either been or are in the process of being medically discharged from UK military service, or have a life changing injury/illness which has been caused by military service.
We are a small charity, which exists to support veterans into meaningful and sustainable careers as pilots and we’re looking for more applications from interested candidates.
When we recruit we’re often met with scepticism from veterans asking “what is the catch”?
There isn’t one, other than to say we are a small charity and often fundraise to pay for your training as we go along – there are no guarantees of how long it will take us to find all your money and we need your commitment as much as you will receive ours.
We are currently able to offer successful candidates accommodation whilst training, however we do not pay subsistence or wages.
This is not an opportunity for everyone and it’s not an easy one either.
